    Unanswered Prayers

    ByKatherine Wisniewski February 4, 2026August 19, 2025

Have you ever wondered why God hasn’t answered your prayers? Dear one, unanswered prayers do not mean that God doesn’t care. Just the opposite is true. God loves us and wants the best for us. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:21-23, ESV).

    I Don’t Know . . .

    ByKatherine Wisniewski October 15, 2025September 17, 2025

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 (NIV) Why must I reach the end of my rope before I utter…

    Pray Like Hannah

    ByKatherine Wisniewski August 13, 2025July 17, 2025

I’ve seen the phrase “Pray like Hannah” written on T-shirts and cups. So, what does that mean? What can we learn about prayer from Hannah?

What If We Trust God More Than Our Fears?

    ByKatherine Wisniewski July 9, 2025July 9, 2025

Are your fears holding you back? Perhaps they are holding you back from:
    Speaking up for yourself
    Meeting that person
    Applying for a job
    Going for the promotion
    Taking a trip or adventure
    Writing a book
    Sharing your faith

    Letting Go of Control

    ByKatherine Wisniewski June 4, 2025June 15, 2025

I’ll admit it. I am a control freak. I don’t necessarily boss everyone around. Instead, I try to control every aspect of my life. I strive to know all the details and plan ahead. Then, I fret, worry, and overthink…

Bad Dreams Don’t Have To Ruin Your Day

    ByKatherine Wisniewski April 9, 2025March 13, 2025

Have you ever woken up from a bad dream that left you unable to sleep? Perhaps our bad dreams are more than our imagination. Maybe the enemy is hurling lies and insults at our subconscious mind.

    Are Tears Prayers?

    ByKatherine Wisniewski February 19, 2025February 19, 2025

Recently, I saw a beautiful plaque on Etsy reading, “Tears are prayers too. They travel to God when we can’t speak.” Then the creator listed Psalm 56:8. But when I looked up the verse, it read: “You have taken account of my miseries; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?” (Psalm 56:8, NASB) So, I wondered if this interpretation of the verse was correct. Are tears prayers?

    Change is Hard But Beautiful

    ByKatherine Wisniewski November 13, 2024January 9, 2025

People say we won’t change unless the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of changing. But why is it people hate change so much? Change is inevitable. Circumstances, finances, homes, jobs, people, relationships, and seasons all change. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV) However, there is one thing we can rely on that does not change: God and His love.” For I the Lord do not change.” (Malachi 3:6, ESV) “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end” (Lamentations 3:22, ESV)

How to Keep It Simple When Life Is Complicated

    ByKatherine Wisniewski September 16, 2024January 9, 2025

I used to know a guy who always talked aloud to himself, saying, “Keep It Simple, Stupid.”  I would politely giggle and chide him for putting himself down. But sometimes I wonder if perhaps he wasn’t onto something. After all,…

    Always Pray No Matter What

    ByKatherine Wisniewski August 16, 2024June 27, 2025

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances,  for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV) I am a classic overthinker, particularly when faced with challenging situations. I lie…
