    Unanswered Prayers

    ByKatherine Wisniewski February 4, 2026August 19, 2025

Have you ever wondered why God hasn’t answered your prayers? Dear one, unanswered prayers do not mean that God doesn’t care. Just the opposite is true. God loves us and wants the best for us. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:21-23, ESV).

God’s Plan vs. Our Expectations: Finding Peace in His Purpose

    ByKatherine Wisniewski January 7, 2026December 16, 2025

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “When am I going to get it together?” I know I have. But the older I get, the more I realize—it’s not really about my plan. It’s about God’s plan.
What does it truly mean to have your life “together”? Is it finding love, building a family, achieving success, being a good parent, or faithfully following God’s calling?
The world may say there’s a timeline for everything. Yet studies suggest most people don’t feel like they have it all figured out until around age 60. The truth is, there’s no magical age or switch that makes everything fall into place. Some people seem to follow a straight path from early on, while others don’t discover their direction until they’ve lived through a few twists and turns. And yet, through it all, God’s plan continues to unfold — patiently, purposefully, and perfectly.

    Lessons Learned from Sarah’s Story

    ByKatherine Wisniewski June 18, 2025June 25, 2025

Do you hate waiting? I do. That’s why I can relate to Sarah’s story. Waiting was hard for her, too. As a child, my mom often reminded me, “Good things come to those who wait.” This might be because I’ve never been very patient. In fact, my husband used to call me the “minute plus” lady because of how I microwaved food. I was too impatient to punch in the time and level. Instead, I pushed the “minute plus” button several times and cooked everything fast and on high. Of course, my impatience frequently led to overcooked, rubbery food.
